PAKU Ltd: Pū Rākau Blocks

Pū Rākau blocks aim is simple, to make learning the Māori alphabet and stories enjoyable and engaging.

Collaborating with experts in Māori arts and storytelling, the team at PAKU have taken mātauranga Māori and incorporating diverse tribal styles, produced an authentic representation of atua Māori and their stories.  When stacked and then scanned with the free companion app the atua's story will come to life. 

Available in different packs:

• Rua Atua - with two atua, Hinetītama and Tane-te-waiora 
• Toru Atua - with three atua,  Tūmatauenga, Tāwhirimātea and Tangaroa 
• Whā Atua - with four atua, Hinetītama, Tane-te-waiora, Hinehuaone and Whiri-te-tipua

Each atua or god is made up of two beautiful 45mm timber blocks, the design has been extensively tested by tamariki to make sure they are safe and fun.
