Hook Hand Heart Star: Warwick Freeman

Warwick Freeman has never tired of exploring what it means to make jewellery in Aotearoa New Zealand.

His emblematic work pursues meaning and across five decades he has built a lexicon of signs, shown in several striking fold-out spreads showcasing Freeman's iconic pieces. 

This significant monograph features texts in English and German, by Geoff Chapple, Karl Chitham, Warwick Freeman, Petra Hölscher, Bronwyn Lloyd, Angelika Nollert and Kim Paton.  It also features imagery directed by Victoria McAdam and photographed by Sam Hartnett.
